Hello friends, Today I am going to talk to you about something which I really like. I like to do many things like painting, cooking, playing with my dolls, watching TV and reading but most of all I enjoy going on holidays abroad. A place which I visited two years ago was France and Disneyland Paris. … It was wonderful!!

PARIS In Paris we visited many interesting places. One of them is the Eiffel Tower. This tower was built in 1889. It is all made from iron. It is 324 metres tall and it is the tallest structure in Paris. It was named after Gustave Eiffel whose company designed and built the tower. It is one of the most important monuments of this country.

The Arc de Triomphe This is also a famous monument found in Paris. The Arc de Triomphe honours those who fought and died for France, with the names of all French victories and generals written on its inner and outer surfaces. Beneath lies the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier from World War I.

The Cathedral of Notre Dame This famous Cathedral in Paris was built in the Gothic style. It is decorated with many beautiful sculptures and stained glass windows. This cathedral was completed by the year 1345. We climbed more than 350 steps to the top of one of the towers. From there we saw an amazing view of Paris and the river.

The River Seine The River Seine is a river which one can find in France. It flows right through the heart of Paris. It is 777km long and half of the water used in Paris comes from it. There are 32 bridges on the river in Paris, some of them are more impressive than others. The best way to get the feel of this river is of course by boat. We went on one while we were on holiday. It was wonderful and I really enjoyed myself.

Disneyland Paris Disneyland Paris is an entertainment resort located 32km to the east of Paris. It is the most visited theme park in all of France and in Europe. It is owned and operated by Euro Disney, a Walt Disney Company. This wonderful resort covers a large area and includes two theme parks, several hotels and many shops and restaurants.

Rides, Shows, & Parades This resort was opened to the public on the 12th April 1992. As years went by, it became more popular. Many tourists from different countries visit this park. There are lots of rides for different ages, shows and parades, and as you can see in these photos, it was simply wonderful.

…Meeting Disney Characters During our visit, I met many Disney Characters like Cinderella, Rapunzel and Minnie Mouse. They talked to me for a few minutes and they also signed their names on my autograph book. I was thrilled!

DISNEYLAND D is for Desirable. It was the holiday that I always wanted. I is for Incredible and Imaginative. S is for Shiny and Splendid. N is for nice... Everything is nice there! E is for exciting and excellent, Y is for youngish and youthful. L is for lovely and long lasting place. A is for amazing and appealing, N is for nightlong and noisy. D is for dazzling… It was a dazzling holiday and I wish to go there again someday!
