Artarea launched “Arts for people” project where artists, musicians, writers, poets go to people, directly to their homes, to their yards and transform their living places into cultural venue. The project also helps to raise public awareness regarding protection of cultural heritage of the city - most of the selected Tbilisi Yards are cultural heritage and need protection from state and society.

Artarea Urban Art Project - Tbilisi Yard Type of events Literature + music (Classical, opera, Jazz, Folklore, Contemporary) Theatre Visual Art All events are free to attend

Artarea Urban Art Project - Tbilisi Yard Results Increased audience Increased awareness of Artarea The project motivated residents to use their yards for staging different cultural events; From 2017, Tbilisi yards will grow into “Georgian Yards”
