OSFO Resolutions Funding for Readiness Assessment Tool Action to drive the development of National Federations Ongoing commitment to OceaniaSport Recommendations relating to volleyball

Funding of RAT post Brian With the recent resignation of Brian Minikin, that ONOC continue to resource the Readiness Assessment Tool (RAT) and its implementation with NFs, NOCs and Regional Sports Federations. ONOC support the ongoing development of the RAT as users request modifications and enhancements

NF capacity building OSFO seek a collaborative forum to unite partner contributions to facilitate National Federation capacity building. OSFO would like to invite ONOC and its North West partners, the ASC and the PGC to join them as a working group in partnership with OSEP to further the work of the RAT, Sports Education Framework and resource development aimed at building the capacity of the national federations

Ongoing support for OceaniaSport the partnership with SportingPulse continue until 2015 A resource be considered for the management of OceaniaSport to: Provide training and support for members where required – create some online “how to..” training resources Liaise with SportingPulse and members on further enhancements Implement a regular joint communication/newsletter with joint contributors of – OSFO, ONOC, PGC and ASC contributors to raise the profile of our activities.

Sport Resolutions “That OSFO supports New Caledonia, Tahiti and Wallis and Futuna becoming full members of the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) and the Federation of International Volleyball (FIVB) with the right to qualify for Volleyball Continental and World championships. OSFO notes that these three French territories are allowed to compete for qualification for the World Cup in Football. OSFO also notes that by coming full members of the AVC and the FIVB the will be able to help develop Volleyball in Oceania.”

OSFO also notes that Volleyball has 19 countries within Oceania who are affiliated to the FIVB and AVC and have National Olympic Committees.”
