TOWNS!!!!! * Navan : Navan has been in existence since the Norman times . It is thought to come from ‘an Uamhain’ , meaning “the cave” . In 2016 Navan had the population of 31,689 making it the 5th largest town and the 10th largest urban settlement in Ireland . *Ashbourne : Ashbourne is a town in county Meath . It is about 20km north of Dublin city and is bypassed by the M2 motorway . The population in 2013 was 14,000 , making it Meaths 2nd largest town . The earliest settlement In the site of modern day Ashbourne was known as Killegland which gives its name to the present townland . * Ratoath : In 1996 the population was recorded as 1,061 .`in 2006 it was 7,249 . By 2011 it had reached to 9,043 . Ratoath gives its name to a village , a townland , a parish , an electoral division and a barony .

NATURAL FEATURES !!!!! *Hill of Tara : The hill of Tara is located near the river Boyne . It contains a number of ancient monuments and according to tradition was the seat of the High King of Ireland . *River Nanny : According to the legend , Saint Patrick had cursed several of the rivers in Meath , including the Nanny for their lack of fish . The estuary stretches around 3km long and is an important site for wintering birds . *Loughcrew mountain : Loughcrew is a site of considerable historical importance to Ireland . The grounds are dated back to 3500 and 3300 BC .

TOURIST ATTRACTIONS !!!!!!! *Tayto Park : Tayto Park is an amusement park , located near Ashbourne . The park was opened in 2010. The park is suitable for all ages and is great fun. And I went on the cu culann 3 times and its so much fun . *Newgrange : Newgrange is best known for its illumination for its passage and chamber by the winter Solstice sun . As the sun rises higher the beam widens so that the whole chamber is dramatically light open . *Trim Castle : trim castle is a norman castle built on the south banks of the river Boyne in Trim . With an area of 30,000 making it the largest norman castle in Ireland .

The food service has many types of dishes such as fish , meat , and vegetarian . *1933 furniture company : 1933 furniture company is located in Navan . The company supplies furniture such as sofas , dining , bedroom and much more . The company specialise in leather sofas . *Epicom food : Epicom food industry is located in Trim . Epicom was founded in 1999 .The company is a manufacturing company .
