The work could not be done without them.

2007-2008 vs 2015-2016 Total Membership: 2008- 2016 2007-2008 2015-2016 Clubs 119 107 Members 9,881 8,472 Who? Young mothers Retirees 2015: 8,540 members; 2016: 8472 - 68 fewer members Over the last 5 years, there has been a drop of 5% in membership This year we are tracking nationally new members (627 new members) We are increasing our non-degreed members: 2016 – 397 (4%); 2015 – 311 (3%); 2014 – 281(3%)

What We Look Like: 2015-2016 Median Club Size = 58 By Region – no surprises. Matches the proportion of the population - 2014 2015 2016 Size – 30 or less = 23 21 25 31-50 = 19 22 20 51-100 = 38 36 36 101-200 = 15 18 17 Over 200 = 11 10 9 Total Members = 5% decline over 5 years Greatest decline = Prairies & Atlantic about 10% Median Club Size = 58 34% of Clubs are between 51-100 members (same as last year) 23% are Small Clubs -30 or less (19% last year)

Membership Trends Overall Challenges 1% decrease each year for the last two years 5% decrease in the last 5 years Non-degreed membership is rising Challenges Ageing membership Economically depressed areas ( economic stress in AB & NL) The decrease is only 1% because of a 8% increase in New Members; otherwise, are numbers would be much worse
