Technical Diving Realities Market size has remained pretty consistent over the last 10 years. CCR’s / SCR’s courses are replacing some of the traditional Open Circuit Technical courses. But total numbers not increasing

What do we do about this? In order for Technical market to grow, the open water market needs to grow. Dive shows like this one help promote the sport, but we need to do more outreach outside of our industry. Technical diving only outreach out side to the industry is the news (fatalities) or Cave / Shipwreck shows.

My hope. We need to be open with one another by sharing real data. We can’t understand how to grow without knowing where we have been and where we are. I hope others follow this lead and release their data.
