Draft Parking Principles Parking should strive towards being a self sufficient operation that does not depend on the operating grant which is intended for teaching and learning. Parking should be fully sustainable as a self sufficient operation within five years. The operating costs for parking should be minimized as much as possible and take advantage of technology advancements where feasible.

Draft Parking Principles 4. Rates for parking lots should be directly related to the proximity to building entrances, whereby the closer the proximity, the higher the rate. 5. Parking rates should be based on a twelve month year. 6. Parking regulations should be properly enforced to ensure safety (blue zones, snow clearing needs, fire lanes, emergency access, etc.).
