AUN-ACTS / AIMS Scholarships Number of Scholarship AUN-ACTS (2/2560 and 1/2561) >> approx.10 scholarships Funded by Chiang Mai University AIMS (2/2560 and 1/2561) >> approx.10 Scholarships Funded by Office of Higher Education Commission Eligibility Currently studying in Bachelor’s degree Chiang Mai University’s Students in any Department, 2nd year and above. Accumulate GPA no less than 2.75 Have English Proficiency Test result, ex. TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, CMU-EPTUS OR Accumulate GPA of ENGLISH classes no less than 3.00 Not currently receiving other type of Scholarship Interview by the Committee

AUN-ACTS / AIMS Scholarships Scholarship Conditions Scholarship is for 1 semester (4 months) and students must register at least 9 credits at the host university. All credits must be transferred back to CMU. Students must apply for a Leave of Absence for that semester at the Registration office, therefore students still eligible for Honor award. For AIMS Scholarship Theme “Environmental Science and Management (Waste Management, Disaster Management, and Alternative Energy”) Students must enroll at least 1 course related to Environmental Science and Management Important note: Student must apply to only 1 scholarship – If found that student apply more than 1, all applications will be defaulted.

AUN-ACTS / AIMS Scholarships Scholarship Details Tuition fee waiver from the host university Students will receive a total of 100,000 Baht, which includes Roundtrip airfare (Economy class) Visa expense Travel/ Health insurance Monthly allowance and personal expenses Host University’s other fee

AUN-ACTS ASEAN UNIVERSITY NETWORK- ASEAN CREDITS TRANSFER SYSTEM Application Process (continued) Step 4 – For AUN-ACTS CMUIC will nominate successful applicants via online system - For AIMS CMUIC will assist students in contacting Host University Step 5 – Students receive an acceptance from Host University Step 6 – Students apply for visa Step 7 – Students apply for Leave of Absence at Registration Office Step 8 – Students select courses to enroll at Host University Step 9 – Students prepare course/credit equivalency approval from academic advisor and sign by the Dean

AUN-ACTS ASEAN UNIVERSITY NETWORK- ASEAN CREDITS TRANSFER SYSTEM Application Process (continued) Step 10 – Students submit Request of Absence/ Change of examination day (In case the exchange semester is overlap with the active semester at CMU) Step 11 – Student submit Request for Approval from the Faculty in order to register at the Host University Step 12 – Students submit Request for Travelling Aboard Step 13 – Students travel to the Host University and start the classes Step 14 – Students finish the semester and return to CMU with study results/grades Step 15 – Students contact the Faculty/ Registration Office for credit and grades transfer
