STARTING PROGRAM 1. Understanding The Early Display Run Adobe Premiere Pro that has been installed with the following procedure : Start > All Programs > Adobe Premiere Pro. Early display will be like this:

STARTING PROGRAM Making New Project and Basic Setting Arrangement 1. Click New Project key in the dialogue box Maka akan tampil kotak dialog New Project.  

STARTING PROGRAM 2. In New Project set Available Presets with the option DVPAL Standard 48 KHz, 48KHz   3.  Click Browse key.  4. Insert project name in the text box 

INTERFACE Recognizing the Work Area of Adobe Premiere Pro 1. Project Window, on the upper left side.  2. Monitor Window, on the upper right side.  3. Timeline Window, on the lower left side.  4. Tools Window, on the lower left side.

WORKSPACE Project Window Project Window is the storage of clip/footage. Project Window consists of 2 parts : 1. Tab Project contains of clip list 2. Tab Effects contains list of audio effect, audio transition, video effect and video transition. Tab Project di dalam Project Window Tab Effects di dalam Project Window

TOOLSBAR Tampilan Tools Window Toolsbar Tools Window contains of Selection Tool, Track Selection Tool, Ripple Edit Tool, Rolling Edit Tool, Rate Scratch Tool, Razor Tool, Slip Tool, Slide Tool, Pen Tool, Hand Tool, Zoom Tool which will be used in process of video editing.

CAPTURING CAPTURING capturing is a process of transferring the result of recording storing in the form of Mini DV cassette from camera into computer in video format. Kaset Video Mini DV Konektivitas DV Camcorder dengan PC lewat FireWire

CAPTURING Setting File Storage Before starting capture, set the location for capture result and file preview in hard disk. Choose Edit > Preferences > Scratch Disks. Mengatur tempat penyimpanan file

CAPTURING Start capturing With the following steps : 1. connect FireWire into DV camera. 2. Computer will recognize DV Camcorder automatically 3. Use menu choose  File > Capture, or press F5. 

CAPTURING 4. After that, it will appear in the dialogue box window Capture.  If PC connected with DV Camcoder so there will be display from DV Camcoder Window Capture

CAPTURING 5. Then we can control DV Camcorder through window Capture using control keys in Monitor.   Kumpulan Tombol Control

CAPTURING 6. Start capturing 1. Click Play key in control . Tombol Play 1. Click Play key in control .  2. Press Record key.  Tombol Record

CAPTURING 6. Stop Capturing 3. To stop capture process, Tombol Stop 3. To stop capture process,  press Stop key.   4. Then it will be seen in dialog box   Save Capture File. Insert file name , then click OK.   Save Capture File

Execute Import Process 1. In the Menu choose File > Import.  Tampilan kotak dialog Import 2. It will be seen in the dialog box Import then choose file that will be imported. Click Open.

TRIMMING Trimming Execution Basically, the process of Trimming is determining In Point and Out Point in the clip. 1. Click twice one of the clips in Project Window so clip will be seen in Source Monitor or drag one of clips in Project Window into Source Window.   Tampilan clip di dalam Source Monitor Window

TRIMMING 2.Move Playhead to the position that we want, then click Set In Point key to signal the start of trimming. This key is located in the lower left side in Monitor Window. Tombol Set In Point

TRIMMING 3. Move Playhead to end position then click Set Out Point key to signal the final of trimming.   Tombol Set Out Point

TRIMMING 5. Drag displayed video in Source Monitor Window into Timeline . Clip format video yang memiliki audio disusun dalam Timeline Window Video Audio

Inserting Video choose clip in Project Window then drag into Timeline.  

INSERTING VIDEO Tombol Insert After that in Source Monitor Window, where we run trimming, press Insert key.  

INSERTING VIDEO The clip resulted from trimming will automatically inserted in Timeline.  Penggunaan metode Insert untuk memasukkan clip hasil trimming ke dalam Timeline

Setting Duration of the Clip Closer the cursor mouse to end position of the clip, until it is displayed Ripple Edit in red with black arrow. Tampilan kursor Ripple Edit

To cut video that has been set can use Razor Tool key in the Toolsbar. Video Cutting To cut video that has been set can use Razor Tool key in the Toolsbar. 1. Set cutting point   The shifting of Current Time Marker to help in clip cutting

2. then click Razor Tools key in Tools Window. Razor Tool key

3. Then click once on clip right in the position of cutting point. Clip yang terpotong menjadi dua bagian 4. Maka clip akan terpotong menjadi dua bagian.  

INSERTING TRANSITION Inserting Transition In this workspace model, transition does not have its own track, so Premiere use remained frame from trimming result as transition duration. It is called Head Material and Tail Material.

INSERT TRANSITION Tentukan cutting point. pilihan Video Transitions, Selanjutnya drag pilihan transisi   ke dalam Timeline , tempatkan d i Track  Video 1 tepat setelah c utting point

INSERTING TRANSITION We can see the result of transition giving by clicking Play in Sequence Monitor Window or pressing Space  Bar in computer keyboard  

INSERTING TRANSITION Setting Transition Duration 1.Click once on the transition.  

TRANSITION 2. Tab Effect Controls in the monitor will be seen like this. In Tab Controls we can set transition duration.

TRANSITION 3. Change the value option of Duration from 00:00:01:15 into 00:00:02:10. Therefore the length of duration can be changed.  

TRANSITION Setting Transition Position The setting of transition position can be done by using Alignment option in Tab Effect Controls in Monitor Window.

VIDEO EFFECT VIDEO EFFECT Each clip can be given effect more than one. 1. Open Tab Effects in the Project, choose Video Effects. Then click Adjust. 

VIDEO EFFECT 2. Choose effect, drag it to Timeline Window, then place in one of the clips in the Track Video.

UNLINK Unlink Video and Audio 1. Arrange video clip resulted from capture into Timeline Window.

UNLINK 2. Choose the clip, then in the menu click Clip > Unlink Audio and Video.  3. After that, try to move/shift the clip in Track Audio to the right side.  4. Clip in the Track Video will not be moved/shifted.  

TITLE Title 1. Arrange a clip into Timeline Window then place in Track Video 1, this clip which will be then used as title background .

TITLE 2. In the menu choose File > New > Title or press F9.  Then Adobe Title Designer will appear.  

TITLE 3. Then make sure select Type Tool key. Type Tool key is located on the left side of Window Tool key. Tombol Type Tool

TITLE 4. After that type text in the Monitor. 5. Change value of Font Size in the Object Style option.  

TITLE 6. The display in the monitor will be like this.

TITLE 7. We can set the text location that has been made using Selection Tool key.  Selection Tool Key

TITLE Next, drag to the wanted position.

TITLE 8. Close window Adobe Title Desi gner. 9. There will be dialog box that ask whether we would save the file before closing the window. To save click Yes.  

TITLE 10.There will be Save Title dialog box, File name, then click Save. Kotak dialog Save Title

TITLE 11. File Title name will appear in the Project Window. 

Setting Audio Gain 1. Right-Click audio clip in the Track Audio Timeline. Then pop-up menu will appear.   2. In pop-up menu choose Audio Gain. 

AUDIO 3. Next, there will be Clip Gain dialog box. Set the volume in dB (desibel). Click OK.   4. To return audio gain to normal position (0,0 dB) use Normalize key. 

RENDERING 1. Determine first which work area that will be rendered. We can set the limit of work area by shifting left end and right end of Work Area Bar in Timeline Window.  Then choose File > Export > Movie.

RENDERING 3. There will be Export Movie dialog box.

RENDERING 4. Type the final file name . 5. Press Settings key. Export Movie Settings will appear. 

EKSPORT 6. Execute the setting of export media format with File Type option then choose wanted media format .  7. Click OK

RENDERING 8. In the Export Movie dialog box press Save. 9. Maka Adobe Premiere Pro will start to eksport.
