The Houses of Parliament. Britain is administered from the Palace of Westminster in London. Parliament is made up of two chambers - the House of Commons and the House of Lords.

The Big Ben. Big Ben is probably one of best-known landmarks in London. It is the clock tower or to be more particular the 14 ton bell in the clock tower of the Houses of Parliament and was named after Sir Benjamin Hall.

The National gallery. There are masterpieces on display from Reubens, Van Gogh, Turner, Leonardo Da Vinci, Monet, Rembrandt and many many more. These pictures belong to the public so entrance to see them is free. For kids there are specially designed trails and these can be collected from the Information Desks.

The Tower of London. The Tower of London is by far one of the most famous and well preserved historical buildings in the world. Within three months of his victory William the Conqueror had begun to build a castle on the north bank of the river Thames in London.
