TRG Tullis Realty Group MKT 146 – CLIENT PROJECT Jonathan Tullis

Background Age: Brand new – Started in September 2016 Owner: Single Owner – Libby Tullis, a Realtor under the Reece & Nichols brokerage Primary Client Target – The real estate market in Johnson County KS and the surrounding areas Client targets are focused on current contacts and 3 degrees of separation Additional marketing through daily interaction and hosting open houses for new client leads Client base potential is very broad for current homeowners Relocation expertise for long distance moves Marketing Presence: Social media pages set up + business cards and typical real estate signage Website: http://libbytullis.reecenichols.com/ Broker provided and hosted site with limited editing abilities

Objectives Short term - Build a client base and following Grow Facebook Page following to at least 100 followers by the end of 2016 Grow Twitter following to 50 followers by the end of 2016 Develop the Newsletter sign ups to 150 by the end of 2016 Get the first listing/sell completed by Jan 2017 Mid to Long term – Develop the client base and create community Develop vendor/supplier community for cross marketing opportunities – specifically 25 vendors in rotating schedule by Jan 2017 Grow client following with Social Media strategies focusing on the total homeownership experience (double all platforms in 2017) $1,000,000 in gross sales by the end of 2017

October 2016 Benchmark Twitter had 5 followers Google Search Results had good hits Facebook had 40 likes and low interaction Additional pages included a start up Instagram page, a Google+ business page, and a new board on her personal Pinterest page Tullis Realty Group

Implementation plan Social Media Page Updates Marketing Campaigns Updated all of the social media pages with more detailed background information to pop up in search engine results Put consistent branding and the same profile picture on all platforms Marketing Campaigns Developed several micro campaigns to gain followers and leads Pushed the newsletter and the MyNeighborhood report Put together a calendar of ideas to keep monthly themes along with event updates such as open houses Developed Friendly Supporters Worked with a small group of loyal supporters to help promote and share posts at different time Posting time and content changes Trialed different posting times for better reach, interestingly 6-8pm was the prime reach timeframe Posted about current news stories, but veering away from anything political, e.g. World Series Tweets about Zoberist

Created content VENNAGE After experimenting with infographic creation on the Vennage site, the client purchased a membership Several infographics are now being created and broken apart to put into the social media calendar

Created content Canva Created ads on the site to be used in the social media calendar Photography Client has started taking personal photos of homes to showcase in ads and marketing instead of using stock photos from the web. The idea is to have more or a story to share with the photo and stand out from the crowd Hootsuite Ad Campaign creations are underway.

Results 11/27/2016 Over achieved Facebook Like goal – currently at 108 Every single return in a Google search is for one of my clients page! The Facebook organic reach continues to grow Twitter is up to 21 followers, room to improve to meet the goal

Next Steps Continue all the ideas learned in the class Use of Hootsuite for more scheduled posts and better use of the social media calendar Branding – This has been the largest challenge While developing a logo is not really part of this class, it is something we have found we are missing. Currently, Libby is the only realtor in the group, but I do plan to join her as a realtor in the next few months. We need a single consistent brand to use across all assets and signage. To that end, we have engaged the services of Persaud Creative (http://www.persaudcreative.me/ ) Michael Persaud is the owner and designer of custom logos and web pages. He is currently in development of a one of a kind logo that can be used for the Tullis Realty Group
