MSc in Global Development: Overview Global Development is a research strength at UCPH The expertise ranges from social, economic and political conditions of the individual to global issues regarding culture, governance, human health, natural resources, environment, trade and stability (development.ku.dk) The Global Development programme is ambitious, providing advanced theoretical and in-the-field training The programme is structured as a unique combination of compulsory first-year courses and plenty of scope for individual tailoring of the programme in the second year All students go on a three-week field course to a low- or middle-income country guided by lecturers with solid fieldwork experience Many candidates will go on to jobs in private companies that interact with the Global South. Others will find employment in institutions and organisations engaged in international issues 21. January 2014
