WELCOME JACKSON! T0 2016/17

PRINCIPAL Mr. Colbert

I believe………….. Different opportunities will provide students a chance to figure out who they are and how to make choices in life The impact of a positive and caring adult can have a profound and lasting impact upon a child. A team and community can be powerful when working together. We have to challenge ourselves and others to grow and improve. Positive feedback and constructive feedback is crucial to anything or anyone moving forward.

What questions did you ask? What interested you today? PARENT INVOLVEMENT Parents should play an important role in their child’s education! Read with them, play with them. Don’t ask….How was school? What did you do? What questions did you ask? What interested you today? Volunteer…be involved in your child’s school. Be an advocate for your child…however….students also need to be guided through difficult situations. Parents “fixing things” isn’t always what best for the child. Guidance is what is necessary most of the time.
