Halloween Addition Problem Solving

Problem #1 Some second graders are going to a Halloween party. 26 are dressed as something scary. 12 are dressed as something nice. There are 14 without costumes. How many kids are going to the party?

Problem #2 Amy says that she has 385 pieces of candy? Is she correct? 164 + 221__

Problem #3 My house gave out 136 chocolate cake pops. My neighbor’s house gave out 475 chocolate cake pops. I think that 511 chocolate cake pops were given out in all. Do you agree? Agree or Disagree

Problem #4 Lots of scary movies are being watched on Halloween. 535 people watched scary movies at the theatre. 175 people went trick or treating. 145 people watched scary movies at home. How many people watched scary movies in all?
