Y&H leads the Way Why are we doing this What are we doing What have we done so far The role of a central Hub

Holding the child’s experience at the centre Taking best practice from each local authority and ‘rolling out’ across the agency Challenge of excellent local delivery across a large geographical area 6 local authorities: North Lincolnshire; Hull; North East Lincolnshire; East Riding; North Yorkshire; York. 1 local authority will host the agency on behalf of all 6 Increasing provision of Early Permanence Placements across the Agency

South Yorkshire RAA is made up of DCST, Sheffield, Barnsley and Rotherham adoption services Work is being undertaken to highlight best practice to ensure south Yorkshire RAA has a soild foundation to be the best it can Our vision is that DCST will act as the delivery vehicle working in partnership with the other local authorities The main focus of our service is better outcomes for children and a greater, more consistent approach with regard to support for our adopters.

A regional agency with a local delivery Partnership between local authorities Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees , Leeds and Wakefield LA led by Leeds Children’s Services under a Joint Committee Working with the voluntary adoption alliance on families and adoption support More targeted and prompt approval of adopters More timely family finding and matching at a regional level incl VAA families Adoption support delivered locally but addressing regional needs
