Working Together Strong productive home school partnerships have been proven to positively affect children’s success so we look forward to working with you. We will provide you with information by text, letter, School Website, class blogs and progress reports. We will meet with you regularly during Open Afternoons and Target Setting Meetings. We hold lots of events which will give you a flavour of what your child is learning at school. Our door is always open. Please feel free to come and discuss any aspect of your child’s P1 experience with us. We would appreciate your involvement in our school life.
School Campus Split Campus Primary 1 will be based in the annexe building to ensure smooth transitions from nursery. Children move around the campus to access the gym hall, dining hall, assembly hall and trim trail. Outdoor Learning.
What will your child need? It would be helpful if your child could have: School Uniform School bag , Pencil case & Water Bottle Painting Overall Gym kit

Lunchtime We have had a practice lunch to familiarise your child with our dining hall. Thank you. All P1-P3 pupils are entitled to a free school meal every day. You will be given a menu to help your child to decide what option to choose each day. If they prefer they can bring a packed lunch or can go home (with an adult). If your child has any special dietary needs, we will work with you and the lunch hall staff to accommodate this. Just let us know.
Attendance and Timekeeping Please let the school office know if: Your child will not be at school. Your child has a medical/dental appointment. You plan to take a holiday out with the authorities designated holiday periods. The door will be opened on the first bell at 8.55am to allow the children to have a more relaxed start to their day and be ready to start learning at 9am If you are late, please report to the main office where someone will notify the teacher to let you into the building using the buzzer system. The children will be dismissed from the annexe building at 3pm.
Medical/Illness during School Emergency contacts form, containing up to date information. Medicines can be administered for serious, recurring medical conditions once the appropriate paperwork has been completed at the school office. Treatments for minor injuries during the school day. Primary 1 medical checks. Hair hygiene.
The First Few Weeks First Day - 15th August 16th August School begins 9.15am Parents welcome 2.15pm to spend time in class Home 2.45pm On the first day we would like to invite you to come into your child’s new classroom to collect them. This will give you a chance to talk to them about their day. 16th August School begins 9.00am Home 3pm Children should arrive at the annexe building and doors open at 8.55am and childen will be dismissed at the the Annexe building by staff at 3pm
