Friends of Kislingbury School Newsletter 3 Spring 2017 Welcome to the Friends of Kislingbury School Newsletter. Our ethos is to support the school and children in as many ways as possible. We do this through running social events; using the money raised to provide equipment and supplies to the school to enhance your child's experience at Kislingbury Primary School. Since September, everyones efforts have raised nearly £2000 for the school! The last academic year the funds raised were used to provide the new “quiet” seating areas in the playground We also spend money on little extras through out the year on additional supplies for the class topics, sweets for the panto, Christmas crackers for the Christmas meal and ice lollies for sports day. Who is the lady who did the nail painting? Need to get her permission to use the photo! Friday 30th June Summer Fayre 3:15-5:15 Friday 14th July Summer Disco 4:45-5:45 Next Term: Film Night, pamper evening, disco & Christmas fayre. Want to be involved? The next Friends meeting is Friday 23rd June, 3:30 at school. A suitable film will be put on in the hall for any children of Friends wanting to attend. If you would like to volunteer to help at any of the events or behind the scenes please email Lisa at friends@kislingburyschool.co.uk or drop your contact details to school reception. If you shop online, why not sign up to www.easyfundraising.co.uk/invite/3KRPHA/ register for the school and raise money for the school! Fund matching: If you work for a company who could help us with fund matching, please get in touch. We would love to hear from you!
