Precise Print Color Control SpectroDENS Precise Print Color Control

DESIGNED FOR CONVENIENT USE Unique side view port for positioning Quick measurement & calibration Responsive feel in everyday use Slim and lightweight design Ergonomic one-handed use DESIGNED FOR CONVENIENT USE

WORKS WITH BOTH SPOT AND PROCESS COLORS For CMYK process colors the ink density, % dot area and gray balance are displayed. For spot colors the spectral measurements are converted to CIE L*a*b*. Displayed DE values enable control of critical brand colors.

RAPIDLY SCAN COLOR BARS Integrated wheels guide the handheld without a need for attachments. Perform ISO checks in 3 seconds flat.

SIMPLE PASS/FAIL DISPLAY Compares measured color values against industry color standards (GCMI, Pantone™ etc.) or customer specified color reference targets. Displays color plots and color difference values.

PREDICTS BEST MATCH Suggests ink density change for best match and predicted ΔE (e.g. increase magenta density 11 pts. to reduce ΔE from 3.4 to 0.8).

G7 COMPLIANCE IS A SNAP 25% 75% 50% G7™ feature displays recommended ink key adjustments for CMY density to achieve neutral values according to G7 specification. This makes it much easier to implement G7 in your facility.

PRESS WIDTH DENSITY SCAN Unique display shows density variations across the entire width of the press on a single screen. It also recommends density adjustments for each section.

CONFIRM PROOFS AGAINST ISO STANDARDS Scan control wedge in seconds to confirm proofs against ISO 12647-7 and known datasets like GRACol, SWOP3, SWOP5, IFRA, UGRA/FOGRA.

DESKTOP SOFTWARE INCLUDED SpetroDENS comes with desktop software to help create, edit and manage your color libraries. Generate QC reports. Export data. Manage instrument settings.

OUR CUSTOMERS SAY… “We use the Techkon SpectroDens here. Works great for us, includes measurement export, nice trending features and a lot of features built in to one device. The ink check feature is very user friendly as well…” “You are absolutely right the Techkon SpectroDens is very rugged and reliable.” “Techkon is a real rising star right now with their current instrument line-up. All their instruments are very fast and handle great (good ergonomics)” “The Techkon SpectroDens has the better UI, superior ergonomics, measurement speed, and nice *free* software.” “We have both and the Techkon is better designed all the way around. If for no other reason, you can set it directly on the patch you want to measure and take a reading.”
