Swimming Lessons Students will go to the pool at the high school every day Monday, September 12th - Monday, September 26th All students need to bring a swimsuit and towel in a plastic bag every day.

Homework After reviewing the current research on the effectiveness of homework, we will not be asking students to do additional homework this year. We will ask students to complete unfinished work at home as needed. There may be some optional projects or activities sent home at times throughout the year.

Grades are on a 1-4 Scale 4 – Proficient 3 – Approaching Proficiency 2 – Minimal Proficiency 1 – Insufficient Evidence Toward Proficiency NA – Not Applicable

Grades Throughout the Year Report cards are sent out 2 times in the year January (report card) End of the year (report card) Grades ideally should go up throughout the year. Content that has been taught earlier in the year, will be reassessed later in the year to check for retention of the learned material.
