1. Mode and models 1-day workshop for institutional decision-makers and programme designers exploring: Policy framework Modes of provision Costing scenarios Or 3 2-hour sessions May be followed by “homework”

2. Programme design 0.5-day workshop if orientation for decision-makers only 2-3 day workshop if developing an actual programme outline, diagrammatic overview and student orientation with practitioners 3-5 day workshop if doing all of the above and developing an implementation model and accreditation application Followed by “homework”

3. Module design O,5 day workshop if providing only an overview of the process to decision-makers 2-3 day workshop if developing actual module outlines, diagrammatic overviews and student orientation with practitioners 3-4 day workshop if doing all of the above and developing module storyboards 3-5 day workshop if also including an orientation to OER Followed by “homework”

4. Materials development Three 1.5-hour sessions (for decision-makers requiring orientation only) or three 4-hour sessions (for practitioners developing in practice) Activity-based programme design: coherence from programme to module to theme/topic/unit Developing authentic learning activities, sequencing and progression Orientation to OER Followed by “homework”
