Scientific Revolution screenplay project

Scientific Revolution Screenplay Project For this project, you will be writing a screenplay about the conflicts that key Scientific Revolution scholars had with the Catholic Church when presenting their new discoveries. Each team member will play the role of a significant Scientific Revolution scholar. The script will focus on dialogue between the scholars and Church officials.

Scientific Revolution Screenplay Project The project has 2 parts: Write the screenplay script with your team. Act out the script in front of a live audience. **Note: If your team does not have a Resource Manager, team members must make references to their “friend” Galileo, his discoveries, and the Church’s reaction to him.

Every actor will research the following questions: What is your new discovery? What is your viewpoint or purpose in regards to sharing this discovery? Why is it important, from your point of view? Why does the Church disapprove of your discovery? What type of conflict is consequently occurring between you and the Church? How do you respond to the Church? What is your reaction to the Church’s disapproval of your discovery? What is the final outcome in regards to your discovery (and possibly the conflict with the Church)?
