Tough Choices Holistic examination of climate and land use questions involving complexity, human behavior, emerging phenomena etc Mitigation of climate impacts – primary focus of discussion was on controlling greenhouse gas emissions and related issues involving energy, biofuels etc. Adaptation to climate changes – assessment of changes likely and how they would impact interlinked sectors of the world economy. (e.g. profitability assessed through relation of climate and land factors to farm rental prices)
