Patricia Bryant Leadership Award This award was established in 2006 to recognize U.S. WIN members who have made significant contributions and demonstrated leadership in the three core values of U.S. WIN

Patricia Bryant Leadership Award Core value: To support an environment in nuclear energy and nuclear technologies in which both women and men are able to succeed She has worked in the nuclear industry for 51 years, during which time, her research contributed to the advancement of nuclear energy technologies, particularly in nuclear code development and analysis systems. She has taught at workshops on nuclear technologies at the University of Tennessee

Patricia Bryant Leadership Award Core value: To provide a network through which women in these fields can further their professional development She has demonstrated significant leadership, serving as chair of numerous committees of the American Nuclear Society, an active member of U.S. WIN, and in several leading roles in the American Association of University Women. With her late husband, she established and endowed a scholarship benefiting a woman majoring in physics, math or engineering, further demonstrating her commitment to education supporting nuclear energy & technology

Patricia Bryant Leadership Award Core value: To provide an organized association through which the public is informed about nuclear energy and nuclear technologies She is passionate about fostering the interest, professional growth, and success of Women In Nuclear. Initiated SHADES, SHaring ADventures in Engineering and Science, for middle school girls and their science teachers. Organized Girl Scout Badge Events in Nuclear Engineering, Basic Engineering and Computers. Taught computer science workshops for high school students Works with the Science in Action and Science by Mail programs, as well as the Science Club and Science Expo for grade school children. She continues to promote nuclear science through her energetic support of outreach activities and the encouragement to young women to enter nuclear science disciplines.
