Food Security Information Management Introduction Objectives Approach, Methodology and Results

Food Security Information Management Country-level Food Security Sector is obliged to develop local level response tracking and data management systems/tools -3/4W matrix; Ensure coherent, co-ordinated and integrated humanitarian responses, driven by the assessed food security needs of the affected population.; Identify gaps , reduce duplication and ensure better use of limited resources; VI. Planning and programming processes of partners V. Visibility, advocacy and resource mobilisation

Objectives Strengthen the capacity of Food Security Sector partners for effective, efficient and coherent food security response; Interact, discuss and share experience/ information on the various food security information management tools/products- Strengthen synergy, co-ordination and collaboration amongst food security partners

Approach, Methodology and Results Participatory and interactive, aimed at getting full participation, engagement and involvement of the participants throughout the sessions; Group discussions, practical exercise, role plays and case studies to enhance learning and knowledge sharing; Acquire knowledge, share experience and familiar with IM products and systems- 3/4/W (who does what, where & when), Dashboards, Gap Analysis Map, Partner Presence Map, FSC Bulletin, etc. Improved data quality, accountability & FS reporting -

Approach, Methodology and Results, cont. Informed decision making process, planning, implementation and other related programming processes; Improved food security information
