Local Students Working in HK – Exemption of Internships Local students may apply for exempting the MII requirements … 1) Eligibility Possess official documentary evidence of previous structured and measured internship/work experiences, which i) take place in a maritime organizational context relevant to the student's future profession; or ii) develops the generic skills that will be valuable in maritime profession; Able to be exempted from a minimum of 80 up to 240 recognized hours. 2) Administrative Arrangement A notification email regarding to this issue with template of application form will be sent to relevant students at the beginning of the coming Semester 1 2015/16, and the application deadline is 9 October 2015.
