Introduction To Viewer Hey my name is Ava, I’m a 6th grader that goes to United. I love cheering. I have one twin brother, and one little brother and sister that are twins too. I am 12 years old. I love playing sports. The sports I used to be involved in are basketball and softball. Now I cheer for basketball and football. I want to try running track when I am older.
Journal Entries I thought I should show this piece of my journal because it was my very first writing I wrote in the green tab. Not just that, but it was only about 3 sentences long. This was my worst piece.
Journal entries #2 Then I thought I should show you this piece, because I know I have came a long way in writing. I know that I have stepped up my game and tried my best. I am now writing 3 to 4 pages every writing assignment I get. This was my best piece.

Look at me as a reader I have come a long way in reading! I have come from a V to a Z in this past year. I am reading a lot. I am also reading more thicker books than I used too. I'm reading a lot at home too. I have a couple of problems when I read. Just as reading the same sentence over again, to see if it makes sense.
Look at look me as a writer I have come a long way in writing. First I was only writing a paragraph, now its like 3 pages. I’ve learned a lot in literacy. now I'm even faster at publishing my papers. I'm also putting more thought and effort into all of my writing pieces.
Teacher Read Aloud The Cay By: Theodore Taylor On My Honor by: Marion Dane Baver On my honor was a great book. I lost interest in the book until thing where getting suspicious and we found out Tony had died. The Tiger Rising by: Kate Di Camillo I lost interest in the book really fast, until in the very end of the book when the tiger was let go, I didn’t know what would happen. And then the tiger being shot. I thought that obviously this book was pretty nice. The Cay By: Theodore Taylor The cay was a great book and it was also very sad when timothy died. The hurricane happening was the best part. The island of the blue dolphins By: Scott O’Dell The Island of the blue dolphins book was very interesting. I am very happy karana survived but sad that she died when she was finally rescued she died. Lawn Boy By: Gary Paulsen I am liking it so far. And I also like that it is talking about social studies too. Tuck Everlasting By: Natalie Babbit She soon is going to read this book!
Fall Is Fall is where I like to jump in piles of leaves. Fall is when I like to set up candles and be calm. I also like having some apple cider and more desserts. I also go trick-or-treating in the fall. I cheer for United football players too! I also go to festivals with my mom a lot! I LOVE looking at the pretty leaves. I get to jump in muddy puddles with my friends
To be continued…. I get to learn even more about pilgrims . I get together with my family and have Thanksgiving dinner. I usually stay inside because fall is a little boring. In fall I always get sick. I always get to wear my pretty fall scarfs. Fall is when I go into the woods and make log forts! I also always see foxes in the fall. I carve pumpkins all the time!!!!
Year In Review This year was my favorite. There were so many things that I enjoyed. My favorite part was when I was at parent teacher conferences, and Mrs. Tedeschi admitted she thought I’d be the death of her. But then she said I turned out decent. Also I’ve learned a lot this year. Especially in Math, I think I'm good for next year. I like how there are so many different ways to solve problems! Science was pretty fun too, with all of the experiments. This was an awesome year!
