Reduction of child injury a key priority for WHO and Europe Self Harm & Stigma a big issue Social exclusion isolation depression suicide

Deliberate Self Harm - DSH Non Suicidal Self Injury (NSSI) – DSH Research confirmed link Alexithymia to NSSI / DSH Child & Adolescent Self-harm in Europe (CASE) study 2008 Pathways from Alexithymia to suicide 59% of young self harmers expressed a desire to die
