Concentration/Alertness Purpose Concentration/Alertness SHORTBALL 5 STAR HANDBALL Players handball to the player 2 groups away and the ball continues around the drill in the same fashion. Drill can be brought in to increase speed with hands or taken out to develop longer handballs focused on accuracy. KEY POINTS quick release * run into vision * soft hands in close * flat firm handball if longer * handballer runs behind receiver to shepherd * loud voices After each player handballs off, have a coach roll another ball at the player.
