Predictions: Did they come true? A.D. 500 A Roman priest predicted Christ would return in AD 500, based on the dimensions of Noah’s ark. A.D. 1914, 1918, 1920, 1925, 1941, 1975, and 1994 Jehovah’s Witnesses predicted Christ’s return. A.D. 1524-1526 Muntzer, a leader of German peasants, claimed that God told him that he could catch the cannon balls of the enemy in the sleeves of his cloak. Muntzer was killed by a cannon ball. A.D. 2012 Mayan calendar ends.
