The BIG Picture 76 million millenials born between 1980-2000 By 2012, approximately 35 million of those millenials will be in the workforce They will dominate the workforce for 70 years

The BIG Picture Questions What’s the difference between how we’ve done instruction before and what we need to do now? What do we have to do to accommodate and attract the Millennials? How does the Millennia adult learn best? What do they expect from us? How should we prepare our agencies for them? What will it cost us not to hire them and/or not be prepared for them?

5 To Do… Ensure that your plans for learning renovation are agile enough for your succession planning, enterprise and business plans. Test and evaluate the appropriateness of the emergent learning. Figure out how to support it. Create short-duration nuggets and opportunities for learning. Tag them well. Create a current application of social networking. Inventory the existing features of your learning functions.
