Key Messages Aim to reduce waste and recover more resources by 3% annually for next 3 years Waste is valuable resource Waste has an impact on climate change and water
Aims/objective To see a reduction in the amount of waste (in tonnes) sent to landfill (target is 65% resource recovery rate by 2018) Encourage people to avoid waste, and to reuse and recycle more Awareness of environment waste issues and behavior change on those issues

Overall campaign effectiveness Overall campaign success is measured in week tonnages of waste diverted from landfill Current rate of resource recovery rate in Delhi is 33% (target is 67% for 2018) Increase in Kg recycling is also measured to gauge effectiveness
