How to fill an order for Gate sign installation/removal Farm number –Supplier number must have a prefix “8” and be 5 characters long. If farm # is 242, the number to be entered in this field is 80242 (total digits = 5), if farm number is 1234, please enter 81234. Select Service Requested – The Drop down below shows different options for ordering, select the service that suits the best e.g. if a sharefarmer 1 sign is to be changed, select the option “is this a sharefarmer 1 name plate change?”.

Select Coordinate Entry Method – Three options in this field are : Fetch from site database – Any existing supplier’s coordinates will be in the back-end database of the portal; this option auto-fills the coordinates for you. This option is useful if you are ordering sharefarmer signs, repairs or removals. Your order will be highlighted Green and will not be validated again by Gecko. Use Dairy Address – The dairy address that you entered above will be converted to GPS coordinates by the portal. This will be highlighted Red in the list of orders and Gecko will probably call you before they finalise the order to confirm the dairy gate sign location. Manual Entry – From your own information or transport, you may also key-in the GPS coordinates which will be assessed by Gecko during their routing exercise, little chance of a follow up. This order will be coloured Amber which means they’ll check it with an expectation of finding it correct.

How to fill an order for Gate sign installation/removal After you submit the order – The submitted orders show as a list on the portal. Orders will be colour coded as per explained in the previous slide. Orders can be amended through “Edit” button until the order closing date.
