College Visit Days Juniors are allowed two (2) per year None in the month of May Call the college Admission’s Office to schedule your visit. Provide five (5) days written prior notice to the Guidance Office Pick up the College Visit Form from Mrs. Miller Have parent/guardian call Mrs. Collins the day before Return College Visit Form, signed by your tour guide, to the Guidance Office

Admission Criteria Overall grades in academic coursework Grades related to intended major Strength of student's overall high school schedule Trends in achievement Class rank Overall grade point average Core grade point average (English, academic math, laboratory science, foreign language, speech) SAT or ACT scores including writing section. Test scores must be sent electronically from the testing agency. (PURDUE) Ability to be successful in intended major Essay Personal background and experiences Information provided by high school guidance counselor Time of year the student applies Space availability in the intended program 8 semesters of Math above the Pre-Algebra level (Purdue & IU)
Take the SAT Exam Aptitude Test = testing your reasoning and verbal skills. 2 content areas = Critical Reading, Math Essay Required Questions can be difficult to understand Penalty for wrong answers Combined Score 600-1600 1020 = average

Have the testing company send your scores to the colleges you are applying to. Some colleges will not accept scores from the high schools. Example = Purdue University
