-Laura Prieto, Trade Marketing Manager The Challenge: An opportunity arose to design a benchmark display suite in a leading retail account. The brief was to Exceed current standards in bringing new Electrolux branding guidelines to life. Split the overall display into 3 stand alone modules, each of which combine to form a 2 bay + end cap floor combination. Showcase the ‘canister vac’ (including storage area for demo model) and ‘stick vac’ ranges, as well as a feature area on the end cap for current launch product with updatable graphics. "Taking our display stands to the next level was paramount for this brief. The Solution: Using MDF construction with a premium high gloss 2 pack finish, we achieved the PMS blue- the key colour for Electrolux floor care branding. Approved permanent decal material and digital print for the ‘duck egg blue’ highlight colour. Each unit with it’s own circuitry for stand alone lighting features, including edge-lit acrylic panel to enclose the display. Front end cap is highlighted with a lightbox graphic display behind hero product for maximum cut through. Lightbox graphic is interchangeable. Storage below shelf on end cap for stock. Interchangeable magnetic graphic behind each bay. Easy access storage drawer beneath canister bay.

The Result: As is evident from in-situ pics this display piece differentiates the Electrolux space from all competitors. The lighting effects create a beacon within the store which communicates the latest retail visual guidelines and calls out key product features. The display is very ‘on brand’ and is now the benchmark for Electrolux permanent display going forward.
