Program Update Changes for 2016-2017 New Programs – Secondary Aviation Maintenance General (9540600) – New Secondary ONLY program – 4 courses Features: Addition of Private Pilot Ground School course Aviation Maintenance General 1,2,&3 courses (maintains ALL FAA requirements for General Aviation Maintenance) Aviation Maintenance General 1,2,&3 courses align with first course in the new Aviation Airframe Maintenance and Aviation Powerplant Maintenance programs (450 hrs.). Program designed for comprehensive high school environment.

Program Update Changes for 2016-2017 New Programs – Secondary Avionics Systems (9504300) – New Secondary ONLY program – 5courses Features: Aligned with first 600hrs of PSAV program. Updated to meet industry requirements. Eliminated redundancies of existing Avionics (PSAV) and Avionics Technology (Secondary & PSAV) 5th course is a Capstone course. Program designed for comprehensive high school environment.

Program Update Changes for 2016-2017 New Programs – Secondary Motorcycle Service Technologies (9540500) – New Secondary ONLY program – 8 courses Features: Reduced the amount of courses from 10 to 8 to eliminate redundancy. Updated to meet industry requirements. Program designed for comprehensive and technical high school environments.

Program Update Changes for 2016-2017 New Programs – PSAV Alternative Fuel Technology - (T401200) – New PSAV ONLY program – 3 courses, 3 OCP’s, 750 hrs. Automotive CNG/LPG Technology - (T401100) – New PSAV ONLY program – 5 courses, 5 OCP’s, 1200 hrs. Heavy Equipment Service Technician - (T440100) – New PSAV ONLY program to accommodate new Diesel Brakes/Fluid Technician course. 9 courses, 9 OCP’s, 1800hrs.
