Version 7 introduces a new backup format for Deduplication and will no longer be using ReverseDelta After upgrading from v6 to v7, backups will continue in V6 format until you specifically enable the "Deduplication" checkbox under Setup > Advanced Settings and then Save Changes. Any newly added VMs will have Deduplication enabled by Default  Reseeding to your offsite location is not required – Altaro will automatically and transparently reseed from the previous Offsite Copy versions already available
