Space -space around the object Positive space -Object itself Negative space -space around the object -And this could be the space in an object as well
Examples of pos. and neg. space
Space Position of object or shape higher on the page to make it seem further away. Overlapping is placing one shape on top of another to produce a feeling of depth. Size variation combines similar objects of different sizes. The smaller objects will seem further away than the larger ones. Color to create a sense of depth.
Space Linear perspective method of depicting 3D space on a 2D surface. One point perspective straight lines are parallel , they seem to move away from viewer and meet at a point in the distance. Two point perspective uses parallel lines that seem to lead to two different vanishing points set far apart.
