3U CPCI in Railway

Case 1:Monitor and Control Network System Controller PC: Network Server with 3U CompactPCI system communicates with all train compartments collecting and analyzing all online compartments’ information, then displays the information on a touch screen panel. WX-II-type vehicle wireless data transmission device receives the GPS information through the GPS antenna and the GPS module and sends the GPS information and electricity information to ground receiving system through the GPRS real-time transmission. German bus control system conforms to IEC61375, the TCN standard. The system consists of wire-train-bus (WTB) and multifunction vehicle bus (MVB). The compartments in the unit (in a train considers 6 compartments as a group and 3 compartments as a unit) is connected by MVB to control the compartments and two units are connected by WTB to control the train

Case 2:Media Control System The train media information system connects the information server and the information display terminal with the wireless local network and displays the program which is arranged by information server on the information display terminal. Meanwhile, the real-time news is gathered on the server through wireless broadband network technology and broadcasted to the information display terminal by the captions form. So, passengers can not only see colorful video program, but also receive news in real-time. The system uses the most advanced high-definition audio and video decoding technology, such as MPEG2/4, so that trains can achieve DVD television image level. The wireless broadband and wireless LAN (802.11 g) specially, the new technology of wireless communication's, frequency range expansion and speed rate expansion (transmission distance and bandwidth is as three times as the normal network). In addition, the CDMA network coverage of the railway backbone realize the remote transmission and update real-time broadcast of the video program . The system server uses a special earthquake resistance system to safeguard the media information system available.

Case 3:Dispatch and Control System The microcomputer interlocking control is an important link in train dispatching system It’s used in managing the deployment of the train to enter the station in position Reduce and solve the human errors and related security risks which are caused by the manual control. The CSM traffic command system combines the perfect new technology, CSM, and the rail traffic command. This system consist of the dispatch extension telephone loaded in control center and the locomotive extension telephone loaded in the train cab. The train constantly send text messages to the control center, depends upon the CPS gathering data, to report the work situations of the train. Then, the dispatcher issues the dispatching command, according to these situations, to the train drivers to achieve the train's real-time monitoring and control.
