Reset Five: The Judgment Seat of Christ

The Judgment Seat of Christ The Bema (Judgment Seat) of Christ is NOT about salvation. It is for believers. The Bema (Judgment Seat) of Christ is where we are rewarded for faithfulness and service to Christ.

Reset Six: The Final Judgment

Revelation 20:11-15 11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.

Revelation 20:11-15 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

The Great White Throne Judgment Christians were already judged at the Judgment seat of Christ. The books are opened as an accurate record.

The dead (those who are not believers) are judged according to their works. “Judged” is ἐκρίθησαν (ekrithēsan) in the Greek “aorist indicative passive”. The “aorist indicative” means it was a “past action”. The Greek passive means they are receiving the action.

Essentially, the judgment is showing how their works had already brought judgment on themselves. They didn’t take advantage of Jesus Christ paying for sins and taking their consequences on the cross so they bear the full responsibility for their sin. God provided a way out. They chose not to take it while there was still the opportunity.

The Great White Throne Judgment God is seen as righteous in allowing them their choice of hell. Death and hell are cast into the lake of fire. Anyone not found written in the Book or Life is cast into the lake of fire.

Reset Seven: The Final Reset

The Final Reset WE BELIEVE...and look forward to the perfect New Heavens and a New Earth that Christ is preparing for all people, of all time, who have accepted Him. We will live and dwell with Him there forever following His millennial reign on Earth. 'And so shall we forever be with the Lord!'
