Special Weekend. A day which was special to me in the summer holidays was the day of Eid. It is very special because we spend this day with our loved ones.

THE DAY BEFORE EID! We waited to be told about the moon sighting. I was excited as I sat down drinking a cup of hot chocolate. I really wanted it to be Eid because I wanted to wear my brand new dress and apply mehndi!

We found out!! My dad and brother came from mosque and said that Eid was definitely tomorrow. I was so happy and I knew it was time to apply on my Mehdni before I slept!

NEXT MORNING Mum got up and prepared fresh food like: Chicken Rice, Pasta, Lasagne, Lamb Curry, Nan Breads and Trifle. It was 8:30am in the morning when I woke up excitedly and sat down and watch television waiting for my breakfast. I was expecting so many cousins and friends to come and visit.

DURING THE DAY. My sister and niece also came over for a very long time and they really enjoyed themselves. My sister really loved the food and my mum was happy everyone enjoyed the delicious food.

AT THE END. When everyone was gone home we all gave presents to each others and were all happy indeed. Thank you for taking time your time out and reading a day in a life about me...
