Please note! Between starting-times, priority will be given to those boats that have to change crews at the dock, and crews launching to go to the start. Other crews are asked to stay on the water as much as possible until all crews going to the start are launched. It’s not allowed to train during the weekend on the race course. Pre-start & Start The startingprocedure is as follows: crews row light paddle up to the starting area and accelerate from there to meet their racing speed. The starting line will be passed at racing speed. Crews start after each other. The starting area is marked with the sign ‘VOORSTART’ which literally translates to ‘pre-start’.
