CHAPERONES GO TO WASHINGTON, DC With BETH and BOB NOVEMBER 9 – 12, 2017 A Preview

Residence Inn by Marriott / Foggy Bottom Residence Inn by Marriott / Foggy Bottom. This is our hotel, just a short walk from the National Mall and DC’s most famous attractions.

We will be close to the White House, and will have opporunities to get many pictures. This view is from the South Lawn.

World War II Memorial. This memorial was dedicated in 2004. The monument, remembers the more then 10,000,000 men and women who faught in the war, as well as the more than 400,000 who gave their lives for our freedom.

Lincoln Memorial is one of DC’s most recognizable memorials.

Enjoy a “Welcome Dinner” Friday evening on board the Spirit of Washington for dinner, dancing and just fun!

This monument, the Pentagon 9/11 Memorial, remembers the 184 souls lost in the terrorist attack at the Pentagon on September 11, 2001, when hijacked American Airlines Flight #77 crashed into the Pentagon, killing 59 aboard the flight, and an additional 125 at the Pentagon.
