WHAT TO DO? Think of a place you can visit around the world and prepare an oral presentation. Use the following questions to help you: Why is it famous? What can you visit? What kind of people visit this place? Where is it located? Why do I like this place? (personal opinion) Make a power point presentation including the required information You may include a video or a website about it It must last at least 5 minutes. Remember to include photos Present it to the class.

PARIS

Where is Paris? Paris is the capital city of France, which is a western European city. Paris is located in the north of France, near the English Channel. It borders the Seine River for about 8 miles. It is well known as the “City of Light”.  Paris is the largest country of Europe with 550 000 km2.

Places to visit in Paris Famous sites in Paris include the Eiffel Tower, the Cathedral at Notre Dame, and the Tomb of The Unknown Soldier.

The Louvre Museum There are hundreds of art-galleries and museums through the city that inherit cultural treasure.

Paris is an enchanted city of elegant architecture and world famous museums. These are some of the most beautiful, popular and interesting museums. The Musée d’Orsay

Museums The Musée Rodin The Musée Grévin It is one of the oldest waxwork museums in Europe. It was founded in 1882.

Sports Football is the most popular sport in France. The national football team won the World Cup title in 1998.

Why I like Paris I like it because it is a wonderful place to visit with unforgettable experiences.
