New Executive Laura Pena Loreto is the STSSA’s Event Coordinator Event Coordinator: is responsible for managing and directing events with fellow associates. Therefore, E.C. is not solely responsible. Their duty is to enforce that the associates (including the E.C.) are involved in promoting the events, for e.g. making posters, tabling, booking room, seeking funding (if possible), and etc.

Vote! Future goals Tabling: 2 Executive Member will be paired up Those 2 Executive Member will have to do tabling either… 2 times per year 3 times per year 4 times per year Vote!

Tabling: The pairs will be: PLEASE EXCHANGE CONTACT INFORMATION WITH EACH OTHER RIGHT NOW! Agree to meet each other over the upcoming fall/winter semester

New Executive responsibilities: Every Executive Memeber will be require to host ONE EVENT PER YEAR, MINIMUM! Also, FULFILL ALL THE REQUIRED RESPOSIBILITIES OF HOSTING EVENTS! For e.g. Jivek Narang was responsible for the STS Finale. He designed the poster, updated the STSSA and yu connect webpage regarding the event. He posted posters on campus, also send emails regarding the event.

Take action! What event do you want to host? Decide on the date and time of the event, that is convenient for 80% of the Executive Team Promote the event passionately. Do posters, and advertise using SCLD and STSSA webpage Send emails Book rooms Request material goods, such as PS3, movies, and etc. Try field trips Ask other executive for help or contribution

Everyone is responsible! Proof: “Executive Council Members’ December Evaluation: An evaluation of the Executive Council members will be conducted in December by the Co-Presidents (and Vice-President, if applicable). If a council member is not performing his/her duties, disciplinary action including but not limited to, verbal/written warning, or removal from the Executive Council will be taken.” STSSA Constitution, 2013-14, page 4

Department event Saturday April 5th Faculty of Science Open House Day in the Lassonde Building from 9:30 to 1:30. As you might know, on that day there will be many high schools graduates and their parents visiting the campus. STS will have a special booth in the main hall. at least for 2-3 hours.
