I. Resume * Include an overview of your professional & technical experiences. * No special format is required II. Goals This section should contain your professional goals: * Clearly state your current situation. * Identify where you intend to be in the future as a result of earning a degree. 4/19/2018 Miss Samah Ishtieh

III. Work Experience * Most important part of your portfolio. * Contains a chronological list of work experience from earliest to most recent. * Match with your resume. * Provide detailed information about work experience from each position held. 4/19/2018 Miss Samah Ishtieh

Each list of work experience should contain the following: A. Place of Employment. B. Position Description. C. List of skills or competencies required to perform the job. D. Evidence of training associated with this particular job such as certificates, workshops, or seminars. 4/19/2018 Miss Samah Ishtieh

E. Authentic Artifacts that reflect competence such as: * Letters of validation * Items developed F. Letter of verification of these materials from your supervisor. Each additional list of work experience should identify a progressive growth of competencies Or Demonstration of different skills and competence. 4/19/2018 Miss Samah Ishtieh

IV. Educational Experiences Should include evidence of educational experiences that were completed outside of traditional schooling environments. Evidence should include: * Certificates * Diplomas * Documents * Organizational licenses 4/19/2018 Miss Samah Ishtieh

Portfolio Process Step One: * Work Philosophy * Goals * Planning ( use SWAT analysis) Step Two : * Gather Artifacts: certificates, letters, work sample, photos, projects. * Resume ( use in conjunction with your portfolio 4/19/2018 Miss Samah Ishtieh
