Spelling test New spellings given out in spelling book. Mental maths books given out (Mathletics or My Maths will also be used periodically.) Times tables test Please set aside time to support your child with their homework and ensure it’s quality and accuracy. Please help your child consolidate & apply life skills like telling time & handling money.

Assessment without levels No National Curriculum Levels Age expectations-emerging, expected (met) or exceeding will be reported annually and officially assessed in year 2 and 6 Parent consultations will report next step targets Online database used by teachers to plan objectives and to assess on a weekly basis after lessons. This is then used to inform tracking of progress and target setting.
