What is a “SMART HOME” A smart home is a home that incorporates advanced automation systems to provide the inhabitants with sophisticated monitoring and control over the building’s functions.

3 Characters of the distributed smart home system Let’s move our sight to the characters of the distributed smart home system.

For the distributed smart home system, users can enjoy the artificial Intelligence at home without knowing about how system runs\ The big data inside smart-home system is distributed storage, it makes sure that the correct data. As the whole system is based on the cloud platform, which means It is still troubled by the security problems. The smart-home system consists a house gateway, several devices, a cloud platform which means that there are varieties of ports in the system. The system allows the third parties to develop other applications through the cloud platform to meet the new requirements, because of the openness of the gateway at home. 5 openness

Complex High cost Not unified The bottlenecks of existing smart-home system. Since the smart-home system based on cloud platform is still using remote control terminal. There are mainly 3 aspects of the bottlenecks of existing system as following: Complex High cost Not unified

Complex The target of the system is to make the users’ life more comfortable, more intelligence. The existing system is clear not meet the requirements since it needs users should learn how to use this system and lots of the operations are complex. Only focus on remote control can not be attractive consumers.

High Cost The cost of buying and fixing a smart-home system is really high. And it is also difficult for firms for the maintenance.

Not Unified There is still not an unified criterion. Different firms develop themselves’ smart-home products. That means there must be lots of problems of incompatible. And this will produce varieties of smart-home systems. Frankly speaking, the criterion problem can not be solved easy, since there is not a big firm that can unify the criterion of smart-home system and persuade other competitors to obey this criterion.

There may be different sensors to be ready to receive the voice massages and will use the text mining and analysis to meet the requirements, whose principal is similar like siri in iphone.

When using the AR and VR technology in smart-home system, VR machine can be connected with other components of smart-home system. Users can user the VR machine to get every aspect of whole house.
