First semester, this class will explore… Transformations, congruence, & similarity Exponents & equations Geometric applications of exponents Functions Next, semester we’ll journey into linear functions, linear models & tables, and solving systems of equations.

Grades! Tests Quizzes(Reality Checks) 40% Quizzes(Reality Checks) 25% Classwork/projects/ other assignments 10% Homework Final Exam(s) 15%

Homework… Is assigned most every night, with the exception of Friday. Work MUST be shown for full credit. Late assignments will be accepted for up to 4 days; 25% lost each day it’s late. HW Assignments will range from 0-5, 0-10, or 0-15 points depending on the difficulty and work involved.

Extra help! Extra help is available from 7:45-8:30 Monday, Tuesday, and Friday mornings, and on Monday and Tuesday afternoons from 4:15-5. EXTRA HELP SESSIONS MUST BE SCHEDULED WITH ME 24hrs PRIOR TO THE DATE
