KFA45 Hydraulic System Upgrade – “Full” Option” Controls Implications The KFA45 (and associated SAL6 test Cage) “Full Option” hydraulic system will be based on that of AD-ELENA – hence assumes that all instrumentation will be identical and conforming to control system standards 24V instrumentation/actuators, 4-20mA current loops for analogue devices, PT100 temperature sensors. The latest control system standards will be employed for instrumentation and actuator system interface (AS-i bus deported I/O solution to reduce cabling (see annex slide). Functional Specification/complete definition (including SAL6 and building 365 equipment layout) required urgently (mid-September according to current Controls planning).
