Grade 8 Minnesota SRC - Youth Level 1 Position Required Qualification both Punctual - arrive 30 minutes prior to game Appearance - full uniform, tucked in , black shorts (no stripes), socks Start of game: player check in, prep talk with other refs AR Run with flag: down, not swaying Use of flag for following decisions: throw ins, offsides, goal kick, corner kick, out of play center Keeping up with Play- show an interest in the game and keep a close enough distance from the play (typically 6-10 yards)to be in a position to assess each situation.
